Ohno and Toma are praised for their professionalism and care for Maou’s staff
(Source: Uraurageinou) So apparently, they are nice people!!!! *fangirl attack* The TBS dorama remake of the KBS drama, Maou, which is to be screened in September this year (oh fick school would have started) has started filming. Ohno and Toma’s care for staff on set as well as their fighting spirit have also, become newsworthy enough for Uraurageinou to write an entry on it.
First up we have Ohno’s dedication and professionalism. Not only did he change his hairstyle, dye it black, he apparently also lost 10 Kg for the role, in order to better bring out the role of the creepy vengeful lawyer that he’s playing (I must repeat, Joon Ji Hoon – in the Korean version- looked like a goose and nothing like a creepy vengeful lawyer) He had earlier gained 3 Kg after visiting his relatives. My god I need to learn how to lose 10 kg from him =( =(.
The two also gave each staff member a bottle of liquor as a present, which cost 30,000 Yen each and which is a contracted sponsor of the dorama. O_O. The rest of the crew remains inspired by the two main cast members. It was also noted that while Ohno was “active” (full of energy), Toma was “quiet” and passive. This sounds much more elegant in Jap, more like Ohno ‘s the Yang and Toma’s the Yin. HAHA.
As another Japanese remake of a Korean flick, (My Sassy Girl), has not been doing well in ratings, pressure is on for this Japanese remake to do well. Well I must point out that the cast in the Japanese version of My Sassy Girl, was forgettable in the sense that despite doing two entries on it in my JDorama Rankings section, i still CAN’T RMB who the hell’s acting in it. I’m speaking as an Ohmiya + Toma fangirl though. :p. But seriously you can’t go wrong with this cast, I hope. SeptembeR~!!! \(^_^)/
