Kimutaku’s drama has finally placed number one on the ratings chart, taking over Gokusen 3’s spot!

According to the latest ratings on the 24th of May, Gokusen 3 had a viewership of 21.1%, losing to Change’s 23.0%!! Honestly, I dont know why I feel so gleeful.
This was the first time Kimura Takuya had trumphed Nakama Yukie and the media predicts an intense battle ahead.
“Change” had a rough start and although its average rating was over 23%, it still lost by a bit to “Gokusen 3″. But things seems to have changed as the rating of only 21.1% for “Gokusen 3″ was its lowest thus far. Everyone is concerned about whether “Change” will be able to break the 30% barrier.
there was an article posted on MFGB here. Change’s first episode scored 23.8%, as opposed to Gokusen’s 26.4%. but oh well. I hope change rates very high(even though i haven’t watched it!) simply because kimutaku is in it. Yes, I am very biased like that.
Separately, I also reccomend watching Iljimae, Lee junki’s new drama. The reviews for it were pretty good and even though i havent watched it I will be (prolly later) There is an unbiased article on it here, and if you ask me, it looks pretty impressive! plus, I totally love Lee Junki(hahahhaha) from the king and the clown, which is awesome too ^_^

Hello everyone!!! I’m REALLY sorry I havent been updating for so long, I got hooked on Nana for two days and cleaned off the whole series, then i ran around doing lots of random things… so please excuse my absence, lol. I promise to update a lot lot more!!! (o^_^o)
I saw this on bigbangkorean, and thought it was too cute, so decided to share it. 
If you don’t already know, Big Bang’s Tae Yang released his first solo mini-album entitled Tae Yang : 2008 1st Mini Album – HOT on May 23, 2008. He did a couple of collabs (granny posted on them before) and with the success of his mini-album, intends to focus more as “Tae yang” rather than ”Big bang’s Tae Yang”.
Anyway guess who was spotted with Taeyangs new album!! :D

Gummy to take a break!!
(source: Gummy is temporarily stopping activities because of Laryngitis that was due to non-stop promotions since the release of her 4th album in March.
According to YG Entertainment, Gummy’s busy schedule has caused a lot of strain on her larynx and physical well-being, which in turn have also taken their toll on her performances. It may be remembered that when Gummy released her 1st album, she also had a problem with her vocal cord.
As soon as Gummy regains her health, she will be back again to do activities.
Hope she gets better!! I like Gummy pretty much (though i cant say the same for the ft. TOP single) i think its really cute how she and Big Bang boys are pretty good friends (i think/from observation) \(o^_^o)/I dont really listen to any music nowadays since my comp is screwed up, but i heard shes pretty talented, so gummy all the way!!!! \(^_^)/ \(^_^)/ \(^_^)/. and the name Gummy is like cool. In a weird way…

1. Oguri Shun rumoured to be seeing someone else

It appears that although Shun and Yamada Yu publicly announced their relationship, he has been spotted introducing another girl to his friend’s family.
taken from Uwasako:It seems despite all the hoopla surrounding what appeared to be a happy couple, Yamada Yu may not be “the one.” Word has it Shun’s really in love with some other girl. He took said girl with him on a trip to close friend Kamiji Yusuke’s
family home and introduced her as his girlfriend.
A neighbor who saw them said, “the girl he brought certainly wasn’t Yamda Yu.” Kamiji’s home is in Uraga, which takes some time to get to from Tokyo so he wouldn’t bring along just any girl.
Yep, the farther you take someone the more you love them.
And if that weren’t enough, there’s a second rumor about Shun: he’s gotten back together with Yaguchi Mari, whom you may remember left Morning Musume when she got Friday’d with him back in ‘05.

In the latest issue of Friday, (wonder if its still the latest issue) the mag reported that Kuroki Meisa is dating a Japanese musician based in New York called “KEN”. He is said to be in his mid 20s while she is only 19. Wow. I didn’t know that.
It goes on to say:The couple apparently met in New York as early as three years ago. Earlier this month, a reporter witnessed the pair leaving Kuroki’s Tokyo apartment. They split up, but met up again an hour later. Later than night, they returned to Kuroki’s apartment holding hands, and KEN spent the night there.
Kuroki’s agency has confirmed the relationship but was quick to state that there are no plans for marriage.
KEN works together with an American musician as a producer duo called 2SOUL. They have created music for artists such as AI (in particular, her hit song “Story”) and Ayaka Hirahara.
For some reason I think the whole Ken musician thing in New York is really cool. Like Nana. I dont know why that occurred to me. Did I tell you that i also greatly dislike kuroki meisa :< she always gets to act with all my favourite actors!!!! T_T :<<<<<<< granny mentioned it before she dosent like meisa either haha. and now she has a cool nana-ish boyfriend :< :< :< granny will flip, she likes nana alot.

Updates and Old News
Hello everyone!! its Lisa here hahaha first I’ll have to apologise for the lack of updates in the past 3 days..Well anyway, Granny dear will be taking a break for a while since she is in JAPAN!!!!! She left yesterday, and had been busy packing, hence not much time to update… So in the meantime, i have been entrusted with the important task of updating while she is away. You must excuse me, because unlike granny, i dont read/speak Arabic/French/German/Spanish/Japanese/Korean fluently. So I’ll have to update based on reports from english sources. Yup.

[SP] takes home 3 awards at the 56th Television Academy Awards (24/4/08)

SP, which stands for Security Police, took home 3 awards, one for Best Drama, Best Actor, and Best Director. Okada Junichi brought home the award for Best actor.

After watching Shinee’s nyeh-nyeh average poppy MV, and before that Fahrenheit’s boring PV with bad Japanese pronunciation, and yday’s KAT-TUN’s new MV with the JaeJoong Doppelganger in it– and actually even Tae Yang’s other MV (Prayer Ft Teddy) was quite standard fare also– Look Only At Me was wonderful! It was humourous for one, when you realize that the girl was going to go through ALL the members of Big Bang. HAHA. Lucky girl who gets to date ALL of them (which was what Lee Hyo Ri wanted to do awhile ago, if i remember correctly). HILARIOUS! Okay I should control my fan-whoring here. I can’t decide if I’m being a pedantic and nitpicky fan, but there was a sHORT girl-stalking sequence in Shinee’s Replay MV that TOTALLY reminded me of Lies. First saw their MV at POPSEOUL! but I must disagree with the POPSEOUL! sisters in that, how can Shinee uhm, cause Big Bang, or even DBSK, to MOVE OVEr?!?!?!?!?! Big Bang produces their OWN songs~!! *fangirl preaching* even if it sounds similar to some other songs *mutter mutter* i don’t care, as long as it’s not the freaking SAME song and it sounds NICE. Moreover the genre is different, SM songs are saccharine poppy, Big Bang does more house techno-poppy songs~! Hip Hop, rap, and all that jazz!

It’s at number 14, above NEWS! I was SHOCKED to find out Taiwanese boyband Fahrenheit was entering the Japanese market, but apparently it was announced in November last year. The MV for this song is below, as well as a funny (like weird, funny) comment I found at the youtube site.
